How to Roast Cauliflower

Learn how to roast cauliflower to take your veggie game to the next level!

Oven-roasted cauliflower is – in our opinion – the BEST way to eat cauliflower! Made properly, this is a kid-friendly roasted cauliflower recipe; kids love the crispy, sweet, and slightly spiced flavors in this healthy roasted cauliflower recipe!

Step-by-Step Instructions for the Best Roasted Cauliflower

Toss the cauliflower with oil and spices before roasting for even flavor distribution.

Leave plenty of space between the cauliflower florets to prevent steaming. Spacing the cauliflower florets too close together can make for mushy roasted cauliflower – not what you’re going for! When in doubt, use two baking sheets.

Should you steam cauliflower before roasting?

No way! Roasting will cook cauliflower all the way through and doesn’t require that much time, so there is no need to pre-cook.

How long does roasted cauliflower last?

If you are anything like our families, not very long at all! Roasted cauliflower disappears within minutes of being placed on the dinner table in our homes! But if you do have leftover roasted cauliflower, it can last for up to one week in the refrigerator. Keep in mind that it will not have the same crisp texture when you reheat it. For best results, warm in a 350º F oven.
