If you are craving something sweet but still want a nutritious breakfast or snack, try this almond butter toast with raspberries and chocolate. This recipe is also a great way to use up raspberries that are on the brink of going bad!

Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole grain bread
  • 1-2 Tablespoons almond butter
  • 6 raspberries
  • 1 teaspoon dark mini chocolate chips

Optional Topping

  • Dash spice (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg)

Instructions

  • Toast whole grain bread in the toaster or use the broil setting on an oven until golden and cooked to YOUR taste.
  • Spread nut butter on top of warm toast.
  • Top with raspberries. Using a fork, mash until jam consistency. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Optionally, add a dash of spice. Enjoy!
