Greek Yogurt Berry Smoothie with Vanilla

While we love raspberries and blackberries in smoothies, we know that some people get annoyed with the seeds. This greek yogurt berry smoothie features cherries and blueberries that provide similar benefits without the pesky seeds, in addition to protein-rich Greek yogurt and a splash of vanilla!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk or milk alternative
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 large ripe banana (~1 cup)
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup frozen cherries
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup baby spinach (optional)
  • 6-8 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and puree. Enjoy!

Notes

If your smoothie is too thick after blending, add more liquid. If it is too thin, add more fruit or ice.
