Working with two professionals who make nutrition fun and yummy is such a treat.  They both have made our culinary trainings for school nutrition staff throughout ESC Region 12 not only informative but entertaining and inspiring.  We can’t wait to have them back for another event very soon!

Chef Vahista is my favorite Blue Zones Project® Volunteer Chef! She’s the most qualified, knowledgeable, and reliable chef I know, which is why she’s the first one I call when I’m trying to fill a Cooking Demonstration. Chef V always brings her “A” game with great energy and a very relatable presentation style. She’s very easy to work with and the audience always loves her! I’ve seen Chef V do dozens of cooking demos and I learn something new every time.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love how family and friends gather together to simply enjoy a meal; no presents or pressure, just togetherness. And, of course, I love the food! I believe Thanksgiving can be a time to indulge, but try to balance the meal with some healthy choices and don’t overdo it or you will feel miserable. I’m excited to share this holiday this year with my now 2.5 year old toddler. I’m hoping he learns to love the holiday as much as me!
